2. Purchasing Policy

  • Deposits:
    • To reserve a calf, a non-refundable deposit is required. This deposit guarantees that the selected calf will not be sold to another buyer.
  • Final Payment:
    • The remaining balance must be paid in full before pickup or delivery.
    • Accepted payment methods include cash, bank transfer, or other arrangements upon request.
  • Refunds & Cancellations:
    • Deposits are non-refundable unless High Ranch is unable to fulfil the sale.
    • If you cancel a purchase after placing a deposit, the deposit will be forfeited.

3. Health Guarantee

  • All calves leave High Ranch with a veterinary health check and appropriate vaccinations.
  • Buyer Responsibilities:
    • Buyers must schedule a health check with a licensed veterinarian within 7 days of receiving the calf.
    • If any health issue is found during this period, it must be documented in writing by the veterinarian and shared with us immediately.
  • Our health guarantee does not cover injuries, illnesses, or conditions resulting from improper care, neglect, or accidents after the calf leaves High Ranch.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • Buyers may choose local pickup at our ranch or request delivery.
  • Delivery Terms:
    • Delivery fees are based on distance and transportation costs and will be agreed upon before scheduling.
    • We partner with trusted livestock transporters to ensure the safety and well-being of all calves.
  • Responsibility:
    • Once the calf leaves our care, responsibility for the calf’s health and safety shifts to the buyer.

5. Liability Disclaimer

  • High Ranch takes all reasonable steps to ensure the health, safety, and proper care of our animals. However, working with livestock involves inherent risks.
  • High Ranch is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from handling, caring for, or interacting with Mini Highland cattle after purchase.
